This is from a recent trip to Savuti, Botswana. The leopard decided to climb up the tree. Requested the jeep driver/guide to position vehicle for the shot but forgot to switch the camera/lens..  :)

This is an image I could get with a 500mm lens

Glad you got forgot to switch! ;). Excellent and interesting close view with paw raised. I like how it is framed with the dark surrounds.

Nicely done! Just as happy to see a close up as a wider view of these beautiful predators.

I like the way this beautiful cat is framed by the tree. Also happy that you didn't switch to a wider view in this particular case.

Your mistake worked out very well for this one, Srirama! You have captured the secretive nature of this handsome cat very well in this striking close up, and the tree limbs frame your subject beautifully as it catches the light. Well done!

I like the close-up. Not switching the gear was a good thing.
