Cape Coral Cobra

Taken with a Pentax K7 and Pentax 18-55 lens.  This small snake is found through most of the dry, western and central parts of South Africa.  It spends much time underground, coming out to hunt after dark.  It is venomous.

That is one handsome cobra...nice shot with that little lens.

Very brave shot - using such a small lens...... I'd rather opt for a 500mm with extender......;)
