Not that common in my area and the first time I had ever seen one.
It posed beautifully I thought.

A very nice example of how they use their forepaws when feeding, Dan and good to see a variety of species often overlooked for the more 'glamorous' animals. A fine clear view, posed sweetly on its log.

I agree. And the details in large view are impressive.

Well, awesome image especially in light of fact that this is your first encounter with this species! Love the low angle and the head on round body. The bit of greenery adds some impact.
