Nice portrait with a clean bokeh BKG. Cool light in the LH eye as presented.

A beautiful portrait in the sweetest light, E.J.  I love both subject and the complementary background.   Personally I often prefer an image like this that gives us the feeling of an unobtrusive  peek into their world, rather than getting direct eye contact and locked in to their gaze.

Nice portrait, EJ.
I like the tonal gradation in the background and the way the lion is set off from it.
Also, I notice that the lion is is a nice, clean looking individual. He is too young to be battle scarred like a dominant adult would typically be.
