This is a female tigress from Tadoba NP, India, called Maya. She is known for successfully raising many generations of tigers. I tried by very best to avoid the grass in front. I loved the stare right into the camera.
She was at a waterhole sipping for almost an hour. It was really exhilarating as it was my first time watching a tiger so close.

Hope you like it. Cheers!

Wonderful sighting. Not much you could do about the grass, but in one way, it adds to the scene
Make your life spectacular!

This must have been an amazing experience for your first close up view of a wild tiger! I love her eyes.
