Brown Bear in the forest near Lieksa, Finland.  Canon EOS 5D IV, Sigma 150-600/5.6-6.3 @ 267, f/5.6, 1/20, ISO 5000.  It was pretty dark out.

A good looking bear, Bob. Those trimmed/broken branches look quite lethal for climbing bear bellies!

Hi Bob, nicely framed and keeping the trees vertical is perfect. Techs, well certainly pushing the SS, however the image looks at this size sharp with good detail, I assume this was on one of the supports in the hide? Obviously the dynamic range starts to drop with the higher ISO, but the image hasn't suffered. Albeit dark because you are probably shooting in the night or early morning I would address the amount of blue within the image, yes there is a certain amount, but reducing it will get to where you need to be IMHO.

Trust you weren't eaten alive by the bugs, although it's a little early.

TFS
Steve
