Fan Throated Lizard

This is a male fan throated lizard ([font=arial, sans-serif]Sitana ponticeriana), [/font]during it's mating display. The male open and closes the fan to attract females. It gets these beautiful vibrant colors  only during mating season. 
I thought the tight crop helps to focus more in the beautiful display and hence cropped it that way.
I am an aspiring computer engineer and a passionate photographer.
I make all the photos using canon powershot SX50 HS.
