We had the pleasure of photographing this, the smallest of monkeys at Sani Lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon this past summer.  It weighs in at about 3.5 ounces and is a gum (sap) eating specialist.  We saw it feeding on gum.

Such wonderful little creatures, Nate, they always seem to be on the move and you did well to get such a nice clear view of this tiny beauty! Love that face, so expressive. Great shot.

While the monkey only weighs about 3.5 ounces, it’s face and eyes reveal intelligence. A great subject, Nate. Thank you for sharing this image with us.

Excellent detail and a wonderful expression. Good job on the depth of field. A really well composed image.
