Wonderful sighting, as Dave said! Looks like you caught this one cleaning up at the den with raised paw and soil on the nose, if they're anything like our English badgers they clean out the den regularly and take down fresh grass for clean bedding to reduce the risk of infection and too many fleas.

Nice shot, I like the grasses. Could use a bit more detail in the shadows. Would love to see one of these someday.

Well composed with wonderful color, detail, and light. I like the environment a lot. These things blend in pretty well in certain areas.
