I had new tires put on today. While car was in the shop I walked to nearby Twin Lakes and took some shots of this beauty. It was midday so sun was very harsh.
I used Panasonic Lumix FZ300. I left DSLR with big lens at home.

Lumix FZ300
1/320, ISO-100 f/4 @108mm (600mm), handheld.

Looks very good with the harsh light and equipment you had, Ludo! Excellent detail and exposure on this happy turtle catching some warming sun.
