When I look at this I can't help but think about how animals migrate from continent to continent this way, or even island to island, whether many miles, or a few hundred yards such as here. We're in strange times in the animal world with global weather patterns changing, ice packs shifting or not forming at all. One thing is for sure, the coyote will always adapt and push on.

Like the cold blue tones and composition Drew. Your'e right about reflecting on the ways animals adapt and migrate...

Nicely done with the wider view of one of nature's survivors on the ice highway, Drew. I like this!

Nice looking coyote Drew. I feel that a little less foreground ice in the composition might strengthen the image but depends on your intentions.

This is a really special environmental image! Terrific color, and great composition.

Very nice! I love the staredown. The coyote, like the cockroach, will always be a survivor! It's one of those (few?) animals which has probably done much better because of human interference.
