In September 2001, just after 9/11, I went to Yellowstone. There is a dirt road that goes up behind the Mammoth Hotel and ends up in Gardiner, MT. This buck and two does were on the plateau just above the hotel. He was so cooperative that, when I ran out of film, he just layed here while I went to the truck to get more and returned to shoot again. I took a shot of him from the truck with my other camera while he was laying here next to my tripod. He was probably about 20 yards away. This is one of my favorite memories of that trip.
Nikon F5, lens, film, exposure data not recalled, scanned on flatbed scanner. All C&C welcome. Joe Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist. -Pablo Picasso
