African Lion _ Tanzania
EOS 20D, 100-400mm @ 170mm, ISO 400, f/11, 1/200s
Very slowly I am reprocessing many files I took in the 4-8 megapixel days with newer tools that extract so much more image quality than the tools of the day did.  These lower megapixel shots, I am also using AI Gigapixel to up the pixel count.  Here's one I recently redid from 14 years ago...

Remarkable Lion EJ. Three patches of white hair... Good sighting. A good thing to revisit older files. Twofold benefit being we get to see an improved version.. Always a plus... and for me the second benefit being revisiting some pleasant memories. Winner for everyone, as this is.

An image well worth the re-work. An older male but not quite past his prime, with a nice full mane. He seems very focussed on where he's headed and I like that raised forepaw as he strides ahead through the complementary colour of the sun dried grasses of his natural habitat. Lovely shot!

Well worth reviving- a lovely shot with paw extended. It's so cool to be able to go back to these old photos and see the quality in them.

Wow EJ, this is super cool! I have a lot of shots with the 20D as well, mostly birds and landscape, can you tell some more about the process you use? I never used any up-rezzing, but the idea is great. Any problems to watch out for? . I see the software is from Topaz.
