A nice twist on the classic lounging leopard! Beautifully done. Love it!

Looks sleepy. Great light.

As a constructive question is the slight halo due to processing of an old image? I ask only due to the fact that I am noticing the same thing when I rework some of my older ones.

The halo around the cat, like it's ears and paws is caused by fine fur at the tips that is more lightly colored and also catches and reflects more light.  The fuzzy halo around the leaves is due to the absolutely horrible bokeh of the old Nikon 200-400.  the halo above the log is because I messed up and didn't notice it until just now ;)

It is a nice twist too.  Like it.  I also like the signs of a recent skirmish with the blood on its foreleg.

Thanks E.J.  I think this is a great image.  Just asking as I notice this with some of my older images and am glad to hear it's not just me.
