Taken in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula

In a light snow this individual hunted the abundant vole population in hay fields that attracted many wintering Snowy Owls.

I like the way it is looking at you. Nice exposure as well.

Paul,
What a healthy looking Coyote ! Love the mid-stride pose, snow on him and all around. If mine, I would just adjust the horizon tilt to level it.

Thank You.  The field was gently sloping at the tree line.

Lovely capture of this handsome vole hunter. The snowy setting shows the coyote off beautifully and I like the implied motion with the raised forepaw. Nicely done, Paul.
