Taken in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula - early today.  This mink found a bounty of minnows under the ice and had plenty of holes with a recent partial thaw.  Here it captured 2 in the same dive.  Its tail is in the hole from which it emerged.

Very nice scene and so special that you caught the mink with 2 minnows. I like the sticks there too. Very cool photo.

A nice find and good behaviour capture, Paul, with a nourishing feed for the mink at this time of year. Its good that you got a head on view.
