600 f4, f8, 1/800 sec, 1600 iso
This mother was continually checking the wind as well as looking in all directions. A big male if close enough would try and kill the cub. The two hung around for an hour before moving down the coast. Ten years of photographing these beautiful creatures, something like this is getting harder and harder to see. Michael Bertelsen
