Testing the limits of my D500 and 500 5.6 lens- this little guy is ready to cause trouble around the bird feeders- contemplating a huge jump no doubt!
D500, 500 f.5.6 , 1.4 TC, 1/640, f/8, ISO 8000
some noise reduction applied-I think I used adobe Camera Raw from Bridge.

Cindy, the detail in this image stands out beautifully. A cute pose with the front legs raised. Excellent image quality for the D500 at ISO 8000.

This one needs watching!  It looks like it ate all the pies already.... :)   What a chubby little squirrel.  Sweet pose and beautiful detail - that eye is so bright and clear, I keep expecting it to blink.  A lovely image, Cindy.

Sweet image Cynthia,
Catch light and the slight angle of the head really makes it.

What a cutie. These are my favorite squirrels. Yep , they like to steal food from bird feeders.
