On many occasions this past Fall, Deer would not stop and look for anything. This bruiser was kind enough to momentarily give a glance.

Nice light...with that foolish look back, the in rut buck is a hunter's dream. Hard to find the big boys anymore, winter range is only holding 10% of historic numbers.

That doesn't sound good Mike.  My hunting days are long gone, and I'm trying to fit my understanding UK wise with what I know of Ranches Stateside, but does that mean there are fewer Ranches that manage deer populations.  

(I've seen sites that plant Brassica, Purple topped turnips, Broccoli, Kale, sprouts etc just to provide a more appealing site for Deer to stay, including Dwarf Essex Rape for a layering of availability).
