The green iguana is an invasive species in Puerto Rico. There is the possibility that their number has already surpassed the number of human inhabitants in the island (around 3.4 million). They can be found anywhere but are found in greater numbers in areas were the climate is hot and dry.

This one is obviously not feeling very 'green' today, even with its lush surroundings. You got a nice alert pose here, and a good angle which gives a view of their distinctive dewlap. I like it!
