While in Churchill Manitoba we observed a Mom and her cub in the shallows of the Hudson Bay as it was beginning to freeze over.  Mom seemed to be teaching the cub how to navigate in water and on ice.  Shot in the very cold weather with 5D4, 500 f4 and 1.4 TC.

Unusual to see them wading in water rather than on ice. Love the pano format, Ed. Very nice!

A lovely view of mother and cub in the icy water, Ed. Good choice to go for the pano presentation here!

Makes sense that the cub would need to learn about such things. I also like the pano presentation, and I like that you left the rock in the lower left. It serves as a sort of compositional counter-point to the bears and adds to the image for me.
