I photographed this young vixen at the age of 11 weeks. I called her "Bright Eyes," and on this particular morning she was quite cooperative. She allowed me to make several images, and I came away with this, my favorite. When I look into those beautiful eyes, I feel I can see her character. A few invasive blades of grass were cloned out. A beautiful capture of this girl. Looks like a museum display.

Ron, simply stunning, the eyes are so engaging and captivating.  The shallow focal range isolates the detailed, lovely face well, and the greens set off the fur color beautifully.  Fantastic work!

Oh, my- you've done it again. What a wonderful expression- I think she is trying to communicate with you, as well she might, given your familiarity. Love seeing her long tail in the grass-she looks so very young and alert. I can see your love for these beautiful animals in your photos. :)

I really like this. As you have stated the eyes are captivating. Colors pop and great detail. Love it.

Foxes are beautiful and your image shows it well, Ron. I got to know a den site very close to my town and I hope they will be back spring time.

This is such a compelling image- those eyes just draw you right in. I can't add to what others have said other than that I love this image.
