A moment envisaged before it happened. Saw a giraffe coming from the other side of the road in the Mara Triangle...instructed our guide to hang back and wait for him to move into the cluster of balanite trees on the left. Boom...

Classic African plains view, Morkel. Good thinking, and planning on your part, and beautifully executed!

Great job of waiting. I really like the line of trees in the right of the frame as well as the low angle.

Lovely. Great spacing of the trees and left to right flow of the image.
Really like the pulled back aspect of the image, gives a nice sense of place.

Wow you sure picked a fabulous spot to wait for the action! Wonderful composition, great moment with the giraffe just nibbling at the lone twig.

Great composition as a result of great vision and anticipation.  A rare opportunity intelligently taken advantage of. I know the feeling when it comes together, so "boom" brought a smile to my face.

A picturesque scene well timed. I wonder if loosing a smidgen more of the grass would make the crop even stronger. Gorgeous all the same.
Regards,
