Hi everyone, I've just recently returned from a few weeks in South Africa leading a tour.  This was one of the highlights 2 male Lions close to the road in Addo Elephant National Park.  After getting up from their afternoon nap they briefly rubbed their manes against each other.

Such a strong bond in a lion brothers coalition, and this wonderful capture with the two intertwined illustrates that bond perfectly.

Fantastic capture, Nate!

This is one of the better lion images I have seen out of Addo.
Love the interaction and the elevated positioning.
These lions in Addo come from the Kalahari, and it's evident here in their rich dark manes.

Incredible-perhaps a once in a lifetime capture. Love their dark manes and their beautiful brotherly behavior. Congrats on a well-deserved EP.

I love the interaction which always takes place between male lions in a coalition. This captures it beautifully.
