Whitetail Rut

The rut is ramping up here in central Illinois. I've put waterfowl on hold for this week to focus on finding those elusive big bucks out and about during daylight hours. This particular one has very unique mass at his base, quite remarkable. And if you look close you can see he has a dead eye as well...battle hardened beauty
