A beautifully composed portrait – the eye contact could not be better.

John, the intimacy of the moment captured is sublime, wonderful timing for the head turn and deep eye contact, creating this powerful image.

The eyes are so compelling, they draw you right in. Wonderfully executed image, love the soft even light.

Wonderful behaviour capture, John! You've really caught the essence of this beautiful leopardess, so at home in her tree environment and the head turn with compelling gaze is just perfect. Great shot!

Loving the gaze and treed habitat inclusion John, although your uncompressed version does look a tad over sharpened in areas.

Thanks David! Yes, am very happy. Took awhile to finally settle on which long tele-zoom to purchase, but no regrets.  Serves my needs from handholding BIF's to being just super for safaris where your position is quite often pretty fixed.
