At first glance, the arid south might seemed an inhospitable environment to live in. But the Spiny Forest of Madagascar is a unique habitat and over the millennia, many animals have evolved and made this their home. Such as this endemic Warty Chameleon (Furcifer verrucosus), for example, photographed a few days ago when we visited this fascinating reserve.
Regards,

Des

Its no doubt better to be warty, with all those prickles! Nice use of selective focus Des.

Well done, looks like a WA close up which sets the OOF background nicely for sense of place, all the while having a tack sharp subject.
Like it!
