This Jaguar was in the stealth mode watching two Capybara on the opposite side of the river.

I really like this setting...very typical. If I had any comments (I don't know if you use Photoshop) I'd straighten the riverbank along the bottom and just add a tad more yellow to the image to bring the animals colors out more.

The camouflage coat works well whatever vegetation they hide in, doesn't it! Its amazing how even a few bare branches can be an effective screen. Nice behaviour capture with a good view of the fixed hunting gaze, Jake.

I agree with Carol - it would be easy to miss him with just a few branches hiding him.
