An old film image of a mule deer buck I used to use in my workshops to exemplify an image that would probably not be well accepted for publication due to the fact that it looks like a mounted trophy held behind a tree. The next image I would present was of the full body buck as he stepped out from behind the tree. Taken In Brazos area just south of Chama, NM.
Nikon F5, lens was probably a Nikon 80-200 f2.8, all other data unrecorded.

Nothing like teaching using examples :) It is a nice portrait though. I find the reddish cast in the snow to be a little odd, if this were mine I'd try to adjust it to be more neutral.

I tried to do that in so many ways, but I just couldn’t get it right. Even blue would have been more natural. Still working on PP skills. Some scans are tough to work with for me. Thanks for your input. You’ve always had a good eye.
