Female Polar Bear taking snow bath on ice flow.  Much nicer day today than when we found her yesterday with a Bearded Seal.  Canon 7D II, Sigma 150-600/5-6.3 C @ 600, f/8, 1/1600, ISO 250.

The sidelight and the exposure are beautiful. Very nice image, Bob.

Excellent image Bob, sad to see she looks rather thin for a PB. I understand with the shrinking ice, they are finding it more difficult to get their usual food.

Carol,
Don't worry about this Bear. When we found her the previous day she was gleaning the fat from a big Bearded Seal. There was a lot left of the Seal and I'm sure she didn't go anywhere until it was finished.

Good to know she got some decent meals, Bob.
