This was from our Peru tour a few years ago.  This species is a small fox which is endemic to Southwest Ecuador and Northwest Peru.  There was a pair which hung around the lodge we were staying at - Chaparri Ecolodge.  This is almost full frame, with just a small crop from the top and the right.

Really like this! I like that only the face is sharp and it's wonderfully sharp and detailed!

A sweet faced little fox, Nate and maybe a first for the gallery.  Well done!

Nice detail - and the dreaded ticks get everywhere.

Nate, it's great to see this species (new to me). This is a fine portrait. TFS.

Such a tiny, petite looking fox. Lovely portrait, such soft light complements its subtle colors. A new species for me, one to add to the "someday" list!
