Such a great year for bear photography, this was in Yellowstone and that can usually mean lots of cameras. This opportunity was had all to myself.

That is one bruiser of a bear! Nice composition and pose, and the soft light let you capture wonderful detail in the fur. Must've been a wonderful encounter to have this by yourself in that park.
