One of the more unusual finds on my Galapagos excursion was this little rice rat.  I would've called it a mouse, it wasn't much bigger than a House Mouse.  It hid under the rocks but after we sat quiet for a few minutes it ventured out about its business.  This is an indigenous species to the islands, not introduced.

Even rats can have their 'cute' moments! This is sweet, Cindy.

I agree, a "cute" little rat.
