Common Dolphin, San Diego
Canon 7dmkII, 100-400mm, 1/1600 f/9, cropped

One of the bonuses of a pelagic birding trip is the dolphin encounters.  They often come over to bow-ride with the boat.  I wish I had more space below the dolphins, but when you can't see them under water it's really tough to even get them in the frame!

Yes, a lower angle would be nice, and more room below - but you got these two in lovely leaping poses with the flying water spray, and its well worth a click to see the excellent detail in the uncompressed view. I think anyone would be happy to have this shot in their files, well done Cindy!
