 Nikon D850, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/1000 sec at f/13, ISO 500, HH, no crop. Detail is better if you click on the image. I'm always very careful around Texas Tortoise. If you disturb them, they will usually release a fair amount stinky fluid for self-protection. The discretion is primarily water, and the Tortoise can end up not making it during the Summer months if they cannot replenish that lost fluid. |
