Hi, Its been a long time since I posted any image on NS. This is a sub-adult Tiger sitting in a cave in Ranthambore National Park. There was limited parking space for a good view to see this tiger resting inside a cave, I had to handhold the 600mm to shoot through the leaves and find a gap to get this shot. The out of focus leaves with dark background of the cave makes this image for me. photographed using nikon d4s+600+ handheld. Hope you enjoy this image.

A good-looking tiger, Talat. Great job hand holding the 600, and I, too, like the out of focus leaves.

Good to see you and your images again, Talat. I agree the out of focus leaves add a nice touch to the dark cave background, I just wish that one over the ear wasn't there. Perhaps that's being too critical of an otherwise lovely capture of this handsome tiger!

It is the look in the tiger's eye that makes this image for me...hauteur...regal...sad...vulnerable...the soul of the country.
