Father Fox II

This is the hard-working father fox featured in my last post. Here, he is crossing in front of my blind. The light was low due to rain, and he was moving fast. So I selectively focused on the head. It is framed a little tight for my tastes, and I would have liked more depth of field, but this was the only option due to the adverse conditions. I was pleased, however, that I caught his front foot off of the ground. Please click on the image to view it full size. Thank you.

Those eyes couldn't open any wider!  Good choice of selective focus in the conditions, because that face is the star of the show and the detail is superb.  I also like the raised front paw as he is poised to take his next tentative step.  :)

What a nice shot Ron! The fox is staring directly into the camera, can't get better eye contact than that.
