A tigress sits in the waterhole gazing pensively at the photographers after a recent hunt.

She is about 3-4 years old according to the naturalists. She is a mother of two cute cubs and was hunting far away from her den. I was lucky that the light was beautiful to capture her in all her majesty.

Yes, I thought she was young.  They live for 10 - 15 years in the wild, so at 3-4, she hopefully has many more years ahead of her.  :)
