In our safari camp, about to have lunch and in walks this African Bull Elephant.  I decided to take the shot before I had a panic attack!  In my next shot I will show you just how close he came.  :)

Such unique behavior, seeing the elephant juxtaposed against the camp tent. Well done, Carol.

Brilliant Captured Ma'am. Seem You are very fearless person. In the forest I always avoid this animal. Many times it came to my way when I about to shoot birds. Each n every time I got feared and go away from there. I never shoot a elephant so.
Let live properly and let them live properly...

Anit, you are very wise to keep your distance from elephants in the forest, so do I.  When they come in to the camp it is different (most of the time) and they will not get angry unless you act foolishly or run around and make a lot of sudden movement or noise to upset them.  Stay calm, quiet and still and they will normally pass through and continue on their way.
