Giant Anteater - The Pantanal, Brazil
D500, 80-400mm @ 360mm, ISO 640, f/7.1, 1/250s

Big mistake!  I walked up to this tree after the anteater was rumaging around there.  I was covered in ants from the knees down within seconds...

I hope you're writing a book about your travel and photography adventures, and trust no lasting damage was done with the ants in the pants experience!

Such a fascinating animal and lovely clear view with good detail, especially in the uncompressed view.

I have a section in my Newsletter called "The Story Behind The Shot" where I chronicle things like this, among other things.  Maybe one day I should turn that into a book :)
