Very clever capture of the meandering track of this winter survivor, Bob! I love the way the tracks tell the story of how it detours to check out any available food source to supplement the lichens under the snow, and in this case the little patch of brush/twigs, in case it can nibble anything still containing any life giving nourishment during the harsh winter.

The more I study this, the more I love it! Well done.

Carol.

A very creative image, Bob. Love the composition and the leading line created by the tracks.
