Manitoba, Canada while waiting for a bear.
I think this conveys the tough time Caribou have in the winter looking for something to eat. They are slogging along with their eyes half closed

super capture Richard. nicely presented, Was going to comment on the nice line of ladies, (the males drop their antlers in the winter, so this line looks odd, as that lead Caribou has such a good set I'm going to sit on the fence LOL).

Yes, surviving on lichens scraped out from under the snow is not a nice prospect! The line up does convey the weary determination of this trio Richard.
