No Gene.  They are wild in the Wakodahatchee Wetlands.  I counted over a dozen and a couple were much larger than this one. His coloring was particularly nice and I wanted to show him first.  I'll put up another one that is a slightly different species but in the Green Iguana family.  Most of the people in the wetlands were very unhappy that something hasn't been done to remove them, as they do feed on bird eggs and chicks.  But, I guess the people in charge are just letting nature take its course.  Apparently, they do not routinely swim out to the islands where the birds are nesting because there are quite a few alligators in the water and they tell me that Iguanas taste just like chicken!!
