The younger male wild buffalo had been trying to usurp the place of the heavier alpha male of a herd for about two weeks by trying to draw him away from the herd and lure him into soggy ground. This time he succeeded. This was a fight to the finish. I had to leave because it became dark and the next day I had to travel out of Kaziranga and hence do not know the actual outcome but this was one hell of a bloody fight.

Good shot, but would have preferred a horizontal frame/crop.

Testosterone fuelled combat! Excellent choice of composition and framing to give us a real feel for the habitat surrounding these battling bulls, Pralay!

Wow that must've been quite exciting to watch. I like the vertical framing to include the trees and set the stage so to speak.

An exciting scene to witness in the backdrop of the great Sohola Lake in Kaziranga. Nice framing Pralay.
