Amazing capture, Rob. You are to be commended on finding this scene and then photographing it. Great work!

Amazing shot; I just wish the cat's face was also visible.
Wonderful behavioral image, tack-sharp, and simple habitat.
Hard to believe these cats can drag huge game up trees.

Thank you all for your kind comments, my wife and I watched this scene for over an hour. Truly amazing, I captured the entire event and yes I did get one of the Leopard's face when she positioned herself in a fork of the tree with her kill.
This was our first evening in the Serengeti and I thought it does not get any better than this, how wrong I was, Every day just kept getting better and better, our guide was brilliant and he knew the best position to place the Land Cruiser to get the shots.
As Carol as stated before " there is nothing like Africa".

Cheers,
Rob

Isn't is amazing to see nature acting naturally, just as it has for millennia.... and all this on your first day of the trip.  8)

Yes, it would take this to the next level if we could see the face of the leopard, but what a great sighting - and capture, of the sheer strength and determination in getting the remains of the kill up the tree away from scavengers.

Wonderful image Rob!
