A few weeks ago Gail and I were on a few days' trip touring mid state Louisiana. We enjoyed an airboat ride in the Atchafalaya Wildlife area. While this time of year is somewhat less dramatic than spring or summer, we had a great experience and had the opportunity to photograph some alligators as they woke up from winter. This shot was done with 7D2 and 100-400 at 100mm. Only a very slight crop from the right to center the 'gator. Thanks for looking; comments and suggestions welcome.
