Interesting image. Tough light. Another compositional choice would be to crop as a pano and/or go with silhouettes?

I like your composition and space, and the elks line up nicely. Dave's suggestion would also work well IMO. The light and overall feel of the image is rather flat, to me - I would like to see a touch more contrast to give the scene a bit more life, or again, as Dave says, try silhouettes? As presented, it seems to fall somewhere in between. Just my two pennies worth, Bob.
