This is a male Bobcat hunting in the Sierra Nevada foothills.  I originally photographed it as sort of a landscape, but I cropped the sky and hill to focus more attention on the cat.  My daughter looked at the photo and liked the cat's "mustache."  Canon EOS 7DII, Sigma 150-600 5-6.3 C @ 600, f/6.3, 1/640, ISO 400.

I love this one Bob! Perfect placement of the cat and a great proportion of habitat. The alert pose, intense stare and beautiful light complete this wonderful image so well. A click shows the real beauty of this shot - a winner for me!

Outstanding catscape. I like the composition, eye contact and the separation of the foreground from the background here.

Loved the grassy habitat, the positioning of the bobcat and the BG which has melted away making this image special
