This was the Alpha Male in a litter I followed for several months as they were growing up in a hardwood forest. This was the last image I had the honor of making of him. Please click on image to view larger version. Thank you.

He's a beauty, Ron.  I love the alert pose and you got such sweet detail in the soft light.  The colour palette is wonderful.

Once again your gorgeous foxes steal the show.  Love it!  8)

Love the light, colors, eye contact, and the great low angle.

So much to like about this - a beautiful fox in a terrific setting and pose.  Good one!  Did he leave to find his own territory?  Steve

Thank you, Steve. Yes, he did leave the area to find his own territory. This was my last shot of him before he left.

Wonderful in so many ways. Love how the background colors complement the fox.

Isn't he just so handsome! The colors here are so beautifully matched, and I love the alert, perky pose. Looks like he could walk right out of the picture- just gorgeous!

Absolutely beautiful. I never thought about a red fox blending in to its environment, but you can see here how well it does. Lovely alert pose. I like your low perspective here, it really makes for an intimate portrait.

everything is perfect with-in the image from the exposure to the light even the soft tonal bg colors of fall, like that you even took the low angle approach
to get this foxy, RON you should make a print of him.
