I'm thinking this is taken from a dug out hide, and very nice it is too! Lovely, intimate eye-level view of this sweet impala and the golden light is the icing on the cake. Beautifully done, Jake!

The low perspective on this is a real treat, as is the sweet soft light. Very nice, and different image of a familiar animal.

You are spot-on Carol.  This was taken from a hide in Tswalu in the Kalahari.  The eye-level view from the waterhole was just perfect and they had bean-bags set on a lazy susan on a workbench facing the animals.  Really terrific.  Thanks for your kind comments.
